Code of Ethics
An Association of Ballet Academies, Philippines Member shall:
1. Uphold the reputation and standards of ABAP at all times.
2. Encourage and improve the art of dancing.
3. Take responsibility to continually upgrade their teaching skills.
4. Respect the rights, beliefs and teaching methods of other ABAP Members.
5. Uphold integrity, dignity, truthfulness and honesty in thoughts and in deeds.
6. Demonstrate professionalism or a professional attitude, in the conduct of their teaching.
7. Strive to develop discipline in their students.
An Association of Ballet Academies, Philippines Member shall not:
1. Solicit, influence or persuade students from a fellow ABAP affiliated teacher.
2. Destroy or malign the reputation, name or title of another school and its director.
3. Apply in the same place of work as another director who is still under contract with the management.
4. Permit students and their teachers to continue to perform, re-stage or teach another teacher’s, choreographies and/or exercises
without permission from said teacher.
